Sherbrooke, Canada, December, 2017 – Media5 Corporation, the leading provider of IP-based technology communications, announced the release of its new Mediatrix survivability gateways via SIP Proxy. Available for the global market starting on December 20th 2017, the new Mediatrix platforms will improve communication reliability by maintaining access to both local telephony and the PSTN when the Internet is temporarily unavailable.

Mediatrix VoIP solutions are specifically designed to support several RTC scenarios assuring quality of service, security, and features transparency for business telephony communication systems.

“Survivability and security are key differentiators for Mediatrix platforms. Failover and fallback are completely seamless and transparent regarding phones and PBXs in the enterprise. In case of WAN failure, Mediatrix will insure the internal call control while redirecting external calls to a secondary, geo-redundant server or to the PSTN, safeguarding user experience”, explains Mr. Eric Beaudoin, Mediatrix product line manager.
